1
From the Bazzill Kraft Cardstock, I cut one card base 7” x 6.5”. Score (landscape) at 3.5”.
From both the Bazzill Dark Kraft Cardstock and the Colorplan Tabriz Cardstock #110 , I cut 3.5” x 6.5” panels.
2
Fold the card base and stack up the two panels on top of the card base.
Using a Cropadile, I rounded the four corners of the paper stack.
Using my scissors, I cut the papers to make it look like a treasure map. Keep the panels and the card base stacked on top of each when you complete this step so the cuts are the same on the card base and both panels.
I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Wave Borders to die cut the blue colored panel and the Lawn Fawn Slimline Stitched Hillside Borders to die cut the dark kraft colored panel.
3
I selected a space for the boat and treasure chest on each of my panels. I used the Lawn Fawn Sandy Beach Accents die cuts to cut a slot in each panel.
I distress the card base and the two panels using Distress Ink - Vintage Photo and Chipped Sapphire. Don’t forget to distress the inside of the card base!

I stamped the Lawn Fawn Ahoy Matey Stamp images onto Cryogen Metallic White Cardstock #89 using Gina K Amalgam - Obsidian. I used the following Copic Sketch Markers:
Trees: YG17, YG03, E49, E34, E31
Pirate Boy: N8, N6, BG72, B34, B37, E51, E50, E37
Pirate Girl: R27, R24, B37, B34, E34, E23, E21
Map: E31, E30
Parrot: G09, YG17, YG03, BG05, Y17
Coins & Treasure Chest: E77, E74, Y28, Y26, E37
I used Prismacolor Colored Pencils in Dark Umber, White, Gold for depth and highlights on my images as well as Uniball Signo White gel pen.

Next I adhered the blue panel to the card base. I placed glue on the right, left and bottom of the panel, leaving the top “glue free” so I could properly assemble my card. I then adhered the dark kraft panel to the card base, again leaving the top of the panel “glue free.”
The next step was to stamp the compass and the “X” from Lawn Fawn Ahoy Matey Stamp using VersaMark Ink - Black and VersaMark Ink - Red on the front of the card.
Next I stamped my sentiment on the inside of the card with the VersaMark Ink in Black. I chose “Ahoy Matey - Happy Birthday.”

Finally, I adhered the Lawn Fawn images to the cardbase using Art Glitter Glue and Crafty Foam Tape. Crafty secret - best place to buy 3M foam tape is LOWES!
I added some gold embellishments from StudioKatia.
